This exquisite baby shawl is a little piece of G.H.Hurt & Son history. From our archive of lace knitted designs this pretty shawl was first produced on our vintage handframes in 1912. Inspired by our heritage style and the intricacy and skill of our framework knitters, we have reintroduced this timeless piece.

Knitted in a lovely Ivory White shade, and presented in a Luxurious White Embossed Gift Box. This stunning shawl is perfect for baby’s Christening and is super soft next to baby’s delicate skin.

Crafted in our “Shawl Factory” in Nottingham, England using the finest quality Merino Wool, a beautiful heirloom piece that families will treasure for years to come. Made from 100% fine merino wool, in a stunning ivory white with its exquisite design and scalloped edging.

Care

All our shawls are washed using gentle products suitable for sensitive skin, so are ready for use straight away. Due to the nature of our traditionally hand-finished products, knitted in fine quality yarns, please wash by hand in water not above 30°C in temperature and dry flat, away from direct sunlight. Scalloped edges will naturally relax after washing. This is normal and does not deter from the quality of the product. For a perfect finish simply pin out the scalloped edges, cover with a cloth and press with a cool iron.
